Instruction Sheet
thoroughly before starting the application. You may print the instruction sheet as a reference while completing your application.
What you will need
To complete your application, please have the following information and documents ready:
- Applicant information (name, date of birth, residency details)
- Veteran parent information (service details and DD-214)
- Birth certificate (showing parent relationship)
- Most recent federal tax return (first two pages)
- High school or college transcripts
- Resume (school activities, work, volunteer experience)
- SAT or ACT scores (enter 0 if not taken)
- Financial information (education and medical expenses)
- Essay responses (short answers required in the application)
You will also be required to upload supporting documents through the application portal. Some items, such as recommendation forms, may be submitted after your application is finalized.
Account requirement
The account must be created using the applicant’s information (the dependent child). Each applicant must have a separate account. Do not use the same account for multiple applicants.
